APPLE KHEER (Apple dessert)
INGREDIENTS
500 gram low fat milk, Two Packs of Sugar Free, Two apples, 2 to 5 pieces of almonds, 1 teaspoon lime juice
PREPARATION
1. Boil milk in a thick base pan.
2. Peel off the apple skin completely, slice it and add lime juice
3. Now wash the apple slices thoroughly with water and add after the milk is boiled
4. After the apple slices are boiled add two packs of sugar free, stir and keep it aside
5. Now add almonds and serve hot
6. Serve this hot or cold
DAL IDLI (Rice less)
INGRADIENTS
1 Cup of Moong dhal,(Petite yellow lentils) 1 tablespoon Chana Dal,(split Chick peas) 5 curry leaves, 3 red chilies, 1 cup of grated cabbage, 2 teaspoon of urad dal,(Split and dehusked black gram lentils) a pinch of asafetida, 5 green chilies, 1 teaspoon grated ginger and salt to taste.
PREPARATION
1. Soak dal for about 4 hours
2. Now drain off the water from the dhal and add salt, asafetida, grated ginger, curry leaves and mix well
3. After six hours, add grated cabbage to this mixture
4. Add this mixture to a oil greased pan (Idly Pan) and boil it for 10 minutes
5. Serve hot
WHEAT RAVA (Semolina) PULAV
INGREDIANTS
1 Cup wheat rava, (Semolina) 5 green chilies, 1 carrot, cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves(All one teaspoon), 3 spoon green peas and 1 potato
PREPERATION
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds after the oil are heated.
2. After the crackling of cumin seeds add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and 3 pulav leaves (Bay leaves) and roast.
3. Now add vegetables and roast. Now add roasted rava and pour 2 cups of water and leave it to boil.
4. Your dish is ready to serve.
CUCUMBER SOUP
INGREDIANTS
1 cup sliced cucumber, 4 boiled spinach leaves, 1 medium sized onion, 1 capsicum, 1 tomato, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp pepper and salt to taste.
Preparation
1. Heat oil in a pan and add slightly chopped onions and roast it till it turns golden brown.
2. Peel off the cucumber skin and cut it into slices and roast it.
3. Now slice capsicum and tomato and roast. Keep the pan aside. Let it cool
4. Now add boiled spinach leaves, salt and water and make it a juice in a mix jar.
5. Now sprinkle pepper powder and serve hot.
KHICHDI
INGREDIENTS
1 cup corn flour, 1 cup mung dal, (Petite yellow lentils) 1 cup millet, 1 cup buttermilk, 2 tsp green chili paste, coriander leaves, salt to taste.
PREPARATION
1. Fry corn flour, mung dal (Petite yellow lentils) and millet separately.
2. After it gets cool make it powder (powder like small granules)
3. For this powdered mixture add green chili paste, salt, coriander leaves, water, and buttermilk and mix this as a dosa batter.
4. Stir it in a low flame. After it is roasted remove it from the flame.
5. You can enjoy this dish with Sāmbhar or pickles.
MIXED VEGETABLE SOUP
INGREDIENTS
50 gram turnip, 50 gram cucumber slices, 50 gram tomato, mint leaves, a pinch of rock salt, 1 cup buttermilk, 3-4 piece ice, salt to taste
PREPARATION
1. Mix all vegetables in buttermilk and grind in a mixture.
2. Then add water as per the vegetable quantity and add salt, rock salt an ice piece.
3. Mix it well and can be served.
FENUGREEK AND WHEAT SABJI
INGREDIENTS
1 cup wheat flour, 1 tsp split Chick peas flour, 2 tsp grated coconut, 2 small sized onions, 2 tsp green chili paste, salt to taste, 2 tsp rice flour, 1 cup fenugreek leaves, 3 tsp oil, 1 tsp garlic,2 tsp roasted white sesame seeds powder.
PREPARATION
1. Mix wheat flour, split Chick peas flour, rice flour, salt and oil thoroughly like a chapatti dough.
2. Leave it for about half an hour.
3. Now make small round shaped balls as button shape.
4. For oil greased pan put these button shaped dough and boil it. (As the idly is cooked).
5. Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fry it for about 5-10seconds then add sliced onions, garlic and green chili paste. Fry this mixture for about 10 seconds.
6. Now add freshly chopped fenugreek and mix it well for about 2min.
7. For this mixture add button shaped dough, salt, grated coconut and heat it.
8. Then add roasted white sesame powder and serve hot.
FRUIT SALAD
INGREDIENTS
1 cup pomegranate seeds, 1cup strawberry pieces, 1 cup sliced oranges, a pinch of black pepper powder, 1 cup sliced apple, 4 sugar free packs, 2 tsp curd.
PREPARATION
1. Drain off water from curd and keep it aside.
2. In a mixture jar add strawberry slice, 4 pepper seeds, curd, sugar free packs and grind it well.
3. Grind apple, orange and pomegranate and now mix this grinded mixture to the previously grinded mixture.
4. Now let it cool and sprinkle black pepper powder. Serve this fresh fruit salad.
HEALTHY PARATHA
INGREDIANTS
1 cup wheat flour, cup Bengal gram flour, 2 tsp smashed onion, 4 tsp curd, salt to taste, 1 cup corn flour, 3 tsp boiled grated potato, 2 tsp green chili paste, 2 tsp ajwain(carom).
PREPARATION
1. Mix all these ingredients with water as chapatti dough.
2. Cover it for 30 minutes.
3. After 30 minutes make this dough as a small round shaped balls and roast like a chapatti in a pan.
PIZZA ROTI
INGREDIANTS
1 Cup wheat flour, 2 spoon Bengal gram flour, 5 spoon Tomato sauce, 4 Onion rings, 1 spoon chili powder, yeast little bit, 1 spoon corn flour, 2 spoon soya flour, 1 medium size tomato, 4 capsicum rings, 4 basil leaves, 3 spoon cheese, 1 spoon sugar and salt to taste.
PREPARATIONS
1. Mix corn flour, sugar, yeast and 4 spoon of hot water. Stir well and cover the pan with lid for one hour.
2. Now mix all ingredients such as, soya flour, Bengal gram flour, salt and 1 teaspoon oil separately.
3. Now take out the dissolved yeast mixture and knead like chapatti dough and cover the pan for 3 hours.
4. Now add basil leaves, salt, red chili powder to the smashed (grind) tomato mixture.
5. Now spread tomato mixture on the flattened dough
6. Now spread tomato sauce, grated cheese, capsicum rings, onion rings and spread again cheese powder on it and keep it in the oven for 30 minutes.
7. You can also cook it on pan in low flame for about 30 minutes. Serve hot pizza roti to your family.
FENUGREEK DOSA (Scone)
INGREDIANTS
2 pack of fenugreek(leaves), 8 to 10 curry leaves, few mint leaves (pudina), few coriander leaves, 6 green chilies, salt to taste, 1 cup wheat flour, 4 spoon rice flour, 2 spoon Bengal gram flour, 4 spoon rava and vegetable oil to boil.
PREPARATIONS
1. Clean all vegetables and leaves with salt mixed water and drain it for 10 minutes
2. Grind above with salt thoroughly
3. Now take all flours and mix up with1 spoon oil, little baking soda
4. Now add vegetable mixture and flour mixture and make it as a batter.
5. Spread the dosa mixture on pan in a round shape and heat the pan at low flame.
6. Now dosa is ready to serve
WHEAT AND MILLET (Ragi) THALIPIT
INGREDIANTS
1 Cup millet, 1 cup wheat, ½ cup Bengal gram, 1 cup grated coconut, 6 spoon grated carrot, oil, 3 spoon green chili paste, 1 cup onion, ½ cup mung dal, 6 spoon soya, coriander leaves, and salt to taste.
PREPERATIONS
1. Fry millet, wheat, Bengal gram, moong dhal, and soya for a while
2. Now add chili, salt, onion, vegetables, grated coconuts, 1 spoon oil and grind it well
3. Blend this mixture like a batter (just like a thick paste)
4. Now place this mixture in a required size on greased oil pan and cook it till it turns to brown.
5. Remove immediately after through cook and serve hot.
VERMICELLI DESSERT
INGREDIANTS
6 Cup milk, 1 cup fried vermicelli, 15 spoon sugar free packs, 5 almonds, little saffron leaves, 4 cardamom, 2 spoon nutmeg, little pista,(pistachio)
PREPERATIONS
1. Boil milk and add fried vermicelli and cook it.
2. Now add 15 spoon sugars from sugar free packs.
3. Remove vermicelli after cooking and transfer it to separate plate.
4. Now add cardamom, nutmeg, almond and pista and stir once.
5. Serve hot vermicelli Kheer(dessert) to family.
SUGAR FREE FRUITS CUSTERD
INGREDIANTS
3 spoon custard powder, 10 spoon sugar free sugar, 1 medium size banana, 1 apple and 1 naseberry
PREPERATIONS
1. Add custard powder to milk and keep it for boiling at low flame.
2. Stir thoroughly. While milk becomes thick add 10 spoon sugar free sugar to the milk. Now remove the milk from heat.
3. Let the milk cool down. Keep this milk in refrigerator for an hour. Now take it outside and transfer this milk in to the separate plate and add some custard and also add custard mixture, chopped fruits. Spread some pomegranate seeds and strawberry before serve.
