Ghee Rice
INGREDIENTS
4 cups of rice, 1 cup ghee, 5 large sliced onions, 15 flakes garlic, 10 cloves, cinnamon and cardamom, 100 grams raisins and salt to taste.
PREPARATIONS
Wash the rice and drain water completely. Roast the sliced onions with ghee along with garlic. Now add the cloves, cinnamon and cardamom along with raisins and fry till brownish color and hence you get a nice aroma.
Now add 8 cups of water along with salt. Wait till it boils well, then add rice and mix it well. Cook it in a low heat for 10 minutes. Stir it once, but keep it closed till it cooks well. Now serve hot ghee rice.
